Promotional T Shirts, Making Creative Promotional T Shirts

Introduction

In this article I will give you some options and different ways to approach producing unique designed promotional t Shirts.

Using promotional t shirts, or if you like, custom designed and printed t shirts has been around for a long time, and the benefits that can be received in return have been well established. Needless to say in the era of social media and sate of the art computer driven technology I can truly say that the only barrier we have is our own lack of imagination.

So having said that, here is one of my creative ways to custom make promotional t Shirts.

One of the simplest ideas I have had whilst sponsoring school fundraising activities, was to make two rubber stamps, the first with my logo and positioning statement and the second stamp with contact details the first is for printed on the front of the promotional t shirt, and the second for printing on the back of the t shirts.

With this you will also need to provide some water base fabric printing paint, several thinly cut dish washing sponges to act as stamp pads, (Always have heaps of spare sponges) you will also need lots of paint brushes, and lots of old shirts to use as art smocks. And yes have lots of white t shirts (lots of unisex style t Shirts with mixed sizing of both adults and kids. (But with more kids then adults)

Method

Set yourself up on two or three larger tables using plastic covers to protect them from the fabric pains.

You are now ready for business

Sit your customer on the table and provide them with a t Shirt of their size.

Ask each person what colour they would like to be stamped with stamp and stamp there t shirt, better yet get them to stamp it themself, but make cretin that it is stamped with your logo and contact details.

Then let them loose with the fabric paints and brushes to draw whatever they want.

When they have finished let the paint dry and presses it with a heat press to lock in the colours to the t shirt and make it washable.

Try and Get your customers to wear their t shirts when they are finished, this is great advertising for your products.

One last thing remember this is a premium product it is something that will be kept and be worn by the person making it, do not under-price it. My suggestion is to calculate your cost and then triple it, depending on the demographic of the aria.

So there you have it, a simple and effective way of rising funds for your School, Preschool or charity and in one swoop you have managed to get your business details out there, you have given your branding and business community trust and good will.

Remember the only barrier we have is our own lack of imagination
